Our Vision and Values
Colorado Civil Group, Inc. (CCG) was founded in January 2007 by David Huwa, Dave Lindsay, and Chris Messersmith—three engineers who left a larger engineering firm with a shared vision: to build a company where client service, quality, and communication were the top priorities. Motivated by a desire to work more efficiently and cultivate stronger, trust-based relationships, they established CCG in the heart of Northern Colorado. Today, the firm has grown to include nine civil engineers, seven of whom are full-time licensed professionals, along with one part-time licensed engineer. CCG specializes in civil engineering design and construction administration for public entities, including municipalities, school districts, and water and fire districts. The team has built strong working relationships with local agencies, serving as the Town Engineer for Severance and the water infrastructure engineer for Firestone. CCG has completed or is actively working on over 80 school district projects across the region, involving everything from roadways and storm drainage to potable water and sanitary sewer systems. What began as a bold step by three partners has grown into a trusted, experienced team committed to delivering exceptional results through collaboration, communication, and integrity.
