We’re thrilled to share that Colorado Civil Group has been featured in the Spring 2025 issue of DDC Journal! You can find us proudly showcased on page 46, as part of the spotlight on the University of Northern Colorado’s exciting new College of Osteopathic Medicine project.
The article, titled “An Exciting New Wave of Healthcare,” details the creation of Colorado’s third medical school—designed to meet the state’s growing healthcare demands—and highlights the many collaborators contributing to its success. Colorado Civil Group was recognized for our role as the civil engineering firm supporting the project’s eco-conscious and technically demanding design.
Our team worked in coordination with SmithGroup and the university to implement sustainable site design and stormwater management practices that align with UNC’s goal of achieving LEED Gold certification. From eco-friendly bioswales to reducing indoor water usage by up to 40%, our work ensures this new facility will serve the community with long-term environmental responsibility and functionality.
We’re honored to be part of a project that not only addresses critical healthcare needs but also raises the bar for sustainable campus development in Colorado.
